Our Holiday Play at the Deaf School is still 8 hours per day of rehearsals plus my private teachings. At least I have an ex lover who now thinks he is straight living here who can fix dinner. there is a recording of this from the UK, different names but the same Idea. The radio station in St Louis plays it a couple times a year. Now that I am in Wisconsin I have missed it.

Apart from audio recording, there was a wonderful televised version, perpetrated, I think by Wendy Toye. Both were broadcast by Auntie Beeb.

One point that was missed in the letter is that the song makes clear that the gifts were repeated, so that by the end, there were 12 partridges in a pear tree, 22 turtle doves, etc. etc.

colin, thats the way this one was, 12 pear trees, but only 11 partridges because one got drown by the swans swimming.
