I feel my holiday blues creeping back.
I know because I am already wishing for January 2,
The End of it .
Took my dose of SAMe this morning.
Plan to see if that works on the season.
To all, may you fare better then I, these holidays.
Best Wishes
Moi
One way to survive the so-called "holiday season" is to closely watch how other people behave during this period of time. You really get a sense of their insanity and the sillyness of it all.
Peace, love, goodwill towards others: You, I, anyone can do this on any given day. It is almost a shame that it is brought to the forefront for only a 4-6 week period of time, and not a regular part of our daily lives.
Clearly, when you watch what many other people subject themselves to during this time of year this should actually make you feel better, not blue, because you are not participating in the insanity. You just side-step the whole thing and watch as an observer, not a participant. There is nothing to be depressed about being an observer. The more you watch people during this season the better you should feel about you. As they are doing what they think they need (or want) to do, they should not be criticised or looked upon badly. It's their life and they choose to live it their way. It's just that how they choose to live their life should not have a negative impact on how you feel or how you live your life.
