10 Deaths Induced by Testicle Trauma

How many times have you been exposed to self-defense techniques that attack the testicles? Numerous! The “family jewels” are a prime target due to their sensitivity, but few people realize that attacks to them can cause death. Here are ten different cases that have been reported within the last couple of years in which either striking or squeezing the testicles of an attacker resulted in death. I’m not making this stuff up! Sometimes fact is stranger than fiction!

She responded by kicking him around the genital area. According to the prisoner, the kick was not targeted at his testicles. The kick in fact landed on his testicles. As a result, the deceased fell down in a state of shock and comma. They rushed him to the hospital but he died that same night. The medical post mortem report shows that there was bruising on both testicles. There was no other abnormality found on his body

They took him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. According to the Medical Post Mortem Report, whilst all other parts of his body were found to be normal, the left testicle was smashed. The cause of death was “Neurogenic Shock”.

Mother and daughter kill inlaw by squeezing his testicles -respondent 1 is stated to have squeezed his testicles and pulled them. Eventually the deceased succumbed to the injury

"Injuries of the testicle and scrotum may be productive of most serious issue. It is a well-known surgical fact that a major degree of shock accompanies a contusion of this portion of the body. In fact, Chevers states that the sensitiveness of the testicles is so well known in India, that there are cases on record in which premeditated murder has been effected by Cossiah women, by violently squeezing the testicles of their husbands. He also mentions another case in which, in frustrating an attempt at rape, death was caused in a similar manner"

"Rupture of the spermatic arteries and veins has caused sudden death. Schleiser is accredited with describing an instance in which a healthy man was engaged in a fray in the dark, and, suddenly crying out, fell into convulsions and died in five minutes. On examination the only injury found was the rupture of both spermatic arteries at the internal ring, produced by a violent pull on the scrotum and testicles by one of his antagonists. Shock was evidently a strong factor in this case"

Agreed! Being ballless definitely has its advantages. I'm sure that all of us have a few stories to tell. One of my sports is volleyball. My teammates have been astonded at a couple of blows I've taken to the groin w/o even wincing. I was even amazed the first time it happened myself. I cycle dirt trails a lot. Same thing when my feet have slipped from the pedals a few times and my crotch has contacted the horizontal bar.

I'm not sure I believe the "neurogenic shock" cause of death on a couple of those, and also most of these seem to be not the most reliable news items, however, I could definitely see how pulling on testicles in a way that ruptures a vein or artery could cause death.

I also have heard that samurai used to tape and/or tuck their testicles up so they recessed into the inguinal canals so that blows to the groin would not have as much effect.
