This is my first post here. So please bear with my ignorance. I have been researching the pros an cons of castration for a few months. And something I have not found any information on is whether the scrotum will contract on it's own after the surgery. I ask this becasue I see others taking about having the scrotum excised as well.
Look back in the archives for quite a few posts on the advantages or disadvantages of retaining the sac/scrotum.
Though it's shrunken considerably in the 5 years since I was castrated, my empty sac is still attached. As it turns out, it contracts and expands pretty much as it did when it contained testicles. When it's warm and I'm not sexually excited, it just hangs as a flap of skin. It otherwise contracts exactly as it did when it contained testicles, pushing the cock upward and resulting in the same bulge in my jeans that I had before I was castrated. If you decide to proceed, removal of the sac is a choice you'll just have to make. My crotch would look neater without it. OTOH, it's also a source of erotic pleasure. My BF enjoys playing with it, and he can be quite rough with it now that it's empty. I've also got a ladder of rings in mine, and many guys think it's kewl.
