Thank you Christina, and everyone else who has posted in my birthday thread including Andrew, the kitties, Jesus, Sag111, and Luvpain.



Last year the diversity group in Arkansas sang, 'Happy birthday dear Sherry'. This year I received a birthday cake in my name of Sherry for the first time. Well it was pretty close to my name, for the boss spelled my name 'Happy Birthday Sherrie', but I thought the alternate spelling to be cute. While I turned 36 today, one worker guessed my age at 26, and another at 32 . They had a marble cake for me which was very good, so good in fact that I didn't take very much home with me because everyone else thought it was also so good.

I was born over there in Baltimore, so I thought about your city as Isabel threw a tantrum over there. I am happy to hear that you apparently have your power back on already, and hope that the other east coast posters recover soon. It's actually affected me a little bit way over here in Kansas, because one of the plants which buys our product is located in Norfolk VA, so after weeks of getting around 50 hours, it looks like I will get only the bare 40 this week. But I am doing pretty well lately, as I have a good and economical apartment to live in, my internet connection operation, and everything that I need including continued car payments. 40 hours still affords all that. Besides, that plant in Norfolk is just now getting started again little by little, so I think I'll have those extra hours back in October, which would enable me to pay off the car earlier and begin saving for my final genital surgery.

I am so grateful to have all the wonderful friends here at the EA, and look forward to more years of sharing and friendship.
