Is it illegal for Americans to possess Androcur?
I know that the drug is not FDA approved, but can you get in actual legal trouble if you are caught in possession of it?

No.
The legal situation is similar to piracetam - if it's not scheduled, it's legal to import small quantities for personal use, the same way I take a gram of piracetam in my morning coffee, though it's difficult to get it through sites like Amazon or eBay. Boutique importers take up the slack, however.
