Definitely one of my favorite Fertility Festival cards yet. The inside read "May your Fertility Festival be FESTIVE!" with the final word in a mix of bright spring colors. The bottom left corner had a nest with three brightly colored eggs.

Other cards that I have enjoyed sending in the past included a bunny trimming a Christmas tree and rabbit hanging on a cross. Nothing like a little blasphemy to celebrate the season. I hope that yours is properly festive.....

My greatest joy is to shower the kids with gifts, as we observe Easter.

Get them all sugared up with chocolate bunnies and the like...

And then I go home to let their parents deal with them! :)

Paolo writes of chocolate eggs and bunnies (proper fertility symbols), but he sent my genuine certified-heathen ten year-old grandcritter a chocolate cross and “Jesus-fish” so that he could celebrate communion with the requisite amount of sugar.

My grandcritter is the one who, about two years ago, stopped bouncing a basketball around my office floor to look at me and ask, “Grandpa, is God just like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny? People believe in them until they grow up and know better?”

Wow! Can I take the phrase about God to signature?

Why does the West say Easter while the East say Pesach = Passover en Anglais for the resurrection.

Paolo, I love the Easter card!

As for me, I will be observing this Spring Festival by an appropriate and vigorous amount of vegetable cleansing.... that is to say I will be "scrubbing my carrot."

Then after the vegetable cleansing ceremony, I move on to fruit beautification.... OK, it's called "banana buffing."

Then on to vigorous discipline for my monkey, I always end up spanking that naughty monkey!
