The World to End in a Week - again...

Post by Paolo »

http://www.globalg2.com/2013/03/19/man- ... e-know-it/

Oddly enough, "Armageddon" with Bruce Willis was in my YouTube suggestions today:

My name is Raymond I am a scientist working for various astronomy departments around the world, both public sectors and private sectors. I am not a conspiracy theorist, i am not one of those convinced that `the moon landing was faked` or `2012 nibiru would hit earth`. I look at facts.

However, a few weeks ago,an asteroid 18 meters wide exploded 40 miles above a Russian town, do you know what it would have done if it hit earth? It would have killed many thousands. The shockwaves of the explosion were recorded across the world thousands of miles away. This isnt a theory or assumption these are facts. Now this is what we have seen. The asteroid was part of a large body of similar objects coming in from the asteroid belt. There is one which we have not detected until now, because a/ we could not determine its exact projected path and b/ we did not want to scare people.

Exactly 2 hours later the faxes came through from our U.S observatory. This object, half a mile wide is heading for earth and will hit Canada or Mexico in the next 7 days. Exact time and day will be added here later. This will be an extinction level event. The blast itself will kill millions, and the rest of the living beings will be erased within a matter of motnhs

Even when i heard the news i did not believe it. I insisted on seeing a copy, and asked them to recalculate everything. The calculations were sadly correct.

So here i am, to tel you all that these final days are ones to be embraced. Tell the ones around you that you love them, pray to whichever God or higher faith you believe in. Please make ammends with enemies, and spread the love and warmth.

I am sorry. I really am.

BUT how about a bit of basic logic? If the earth is a spinning target, and it is, and they know the object will impact somewhere between Canada and Mexico, then they must also know the time of impact. So if they haven't nailed the time down to less than some time within the next seven days then they don't know the hour and time of day the impact will occur.

I'm going to rule this one false... :D

I'll go ahead and add this one to the lengthy list of supposed end of the worlds that I've lived through.

Earth is also a moving target (own rotation + moving in orbit). So - without having precise day and time, there is definitely no possibility to predict impact, especially with such precision.

Oh, and we were really lucky with that thing that exploded over Chelyabinsk. Had it hit a bit different spot, it could have hit Ozersk, and the nuclear waste processing plant, that is located there.

PS.

It still leaves an interesting question - what happens if you see a 500-kt explosion on (or above) your soil and have no idea what it is and where it came from. I guess we know now what the Russians do - they would rush to upload their dashboard camera videos to YouTube.

I don't think we have had a end of the world as we know it event sense, oh December. But if this is true, I hope it hits TEXAS, Dallas would be a good place, Crawford even better, or even Casper Wyoming.

Hands up anyone here who believes that 90% of the people in their own country wouldn't have the exact same first reaction.

My prediction is that no matter where it happened, where it hit, the first anyone else would know of it would come from badly-shot videos created by people holding their cellphones vertically, uploading them to YouTube and Facebook, and then tweeting about said videos.

(And my personal belief is that if you think it would be otherwise, I have some great swampland in Florida, or a few nice bridges you may be interested in purchasing from me. Either that, or I have some wonderful meteorite insurance for you, and even some snazzy anti-meteorite charms and bracelets. Guaranteed effective.)

JUST Canada or Mexico for an impact site? doesn't sound too legit to me. i can comprehend a vague impact zone prediction like, say, somewhere on the North American continent. but why is the U.S.A. excluded? meteor doesn't like U.S. immigration policy, maybe?❓
