no buttocks, breasts, tallywhackers, nipples, pins, logos, raised fingers, etc...
>>I've been giggling about this every since I read it.
>>It's like Saturday Night Live's Church LAdy rising from the comedy graveyard of lost cliches
>>

CBS doesn't want to see a SINGLE celebrity butt crack at the Grammys on Sunday ... and no boobs or genitals either ... this according to a warning the network fired off to all "talent" appearing on the show.
The email -- which surfaced online -- was sent by CBS Standards and Practices to people connected to the celebrities who are expected to appear on camera during the broadcast ... and the network makes it clear, it's not taking any chances with the FCC this year.
"Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered," the letter reads.
"Thong type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack."
It goes on ... "Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic. Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples."
"Please be sure the genital region is adequately covered so that there is no visible 'puffy' bare skin exposure. Please avoid commercial identification of actual brand name products on T-shirts."
"Foreign language on wardrobe will need to be cleared. OBSCENITY OR PARTIALLY SEEN OBSCENITY ON WARDROBE IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR BROADCAST. This as well, pertains to audience members that appear on camera.'
But the most shocking part of the letter, CBS does not want talent to wear a lapel pin or any other accessory which contains the name of an organized cause "visibly spelled out."
So, a star can wear a pink ribbon ... as long as it doesn't say "The American Breast Cancer Foundation."
We reached out to CBS -- so far, no word back.

All I can think of is the following lovely little musical composition from a certain prime-time animated show:

Bring back "family" safe TV.
We don't need to hear about anyone's sexual preferences either.
Bravo CBS network. Enforce it now, at the network level.
It might provoke writers to creating better scripts too.

It reminds me of the before time when David Niven was making a presentation and a guy "streaked" across the stage.
Niven said, "there is a man showing his short comings.

What is wrong with mentioning a sexual orientation? It says a lot more than just who one likes to fuck. Or are we suddenly developing some phobias?

I despise "The Family Guy", and never mind the fact that Peter's chin looks like a hanging scrotum.

Time and place.
Family TV hour is the wrong time and place.
An appearance on Jay Leno is a more appropriate time and place.
Agreed?

No, disagree. It is a part of everyday life. Kids know more about it than many adults. Keep it right in the mainstream of life where it belongs instead of hiding.

I recently saw short clip from a new movie in which a main character has his balls hanging from his chin.

That is one of the opening skits from 'Movie 43.' Either I have finally, finally outgrown my juvenile sense of humor about such things or the movie is just plain boring.

Well, what did you think of the scene in the movie "Nothing But Trouble" when Dan Ackroyd's nose looked like a circumcised penis head...?

...I guess that would be "OUT", too...
...and yes, that is Demi Moore getting ready to VOMIT...
