Movie Thread: LUST IN THE DUST

Two movies, three mentions:

1) Lust in the Dust is a 1985 Western comedy film starring Divine, Tab Hunter, Cesar Romero, and Lainie Kazan, and directed by Paul Bartel.A strange movie, memorable for a shot of two bare bottoms laid together to reveal a map to a fortune in gold or something else. I really didn't get parts of this movie and that map, huge-ass plot gimmick to be sure- was just not convincing. I mean, it had two holes to bury two fortunes.

2) Duel in the Sun (1946) Jennifer Jones (as a dark skinned half-breed? YES! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA), Gregory Peck, Joseph Cotton, Voice over by Orson Welles, Tilly Losch, Lillian Gish, and it really does end with a dying GRegory Peck and a dying Jennifer Jones crawling across the dust of the desert in order that their hands touch and they die together -- thus it's nickname LUST IN THE DUST. Kinda of a great old movie that was not supposed to be funny but then, I laugh at the worst times in movies.
