To much smut here
I feel i think of sex to much. I think many men here think this who come here. But its interfering with my life why to long now. I wanted to show this site to my girlfriend after talking to her about chemical castration so she could learn more. But I know what she would say. Its just another masturbation site. She would see the stories and read all the crazy postings and get turned off. Is there another site with just the facts ? And not so much smut she could go to to learn about castration ?
Re: To much smut here
The boards are where the information is.
The stories are fiction.
If you don't like them, don't look at them.
If the boards aren't enough, as far as information, then go away.

Congratulations. A very good defence of free speech in the best tradition.

You will learn about chemical castration from the people on the board who have gone through it. No story will ever do that communication job. Only the men on the board who feel they are oversexed will tell you.

Re: To much smut here
Paolo I was talking about my girlfriend not me, I thought I made that clear. But maybe I didn't . Its hard to have any women come to this site and do research. Because most women would see the crazy chat here. And leave. And you can't say the pages here don't go wild . I just read one with a man asking if he can stick his dick in a elect socket. Something I'm sure would turn her off from learning more about castration. I was asking if anyone knew other sites with less masturbation material where she could learn more.

While I would have been a little gentler than Paolo, hes exactly right about the Archive. Ive been doing research and writing about the voluntary eunuch community and on prostate cancer eunuchs for several years. As far as I have been able to discover, there is NO site anywhere on the Internet that is comparable in its comprehensive coverage of all things testicle and testosterone to the Eunuch Archive.
The Archive began as a site for those with castration fantasy and castration paraphilias of various sorts. Today, in addition to covering voluntary castration for various reasons, it has grown to include up-to-date information for those with severe orchialgia and for prostate cancer patients who are facing castration as treatment or who have already been castrated and are seeking information about what is happening to their bodies and minds with the loss of testosterone. (Most of the eunuchs in the world today are prostate cancer eunuchs.)
Given the reluctance (in some cases fear) of many physicians to confront the realities of castration, the Archive offers better information than you might find in your local medical community. Some of the articles that my colleagues and I have written are designed to counter the MIS-information that is still in the medical literature about the impact of loss of testosterone. Much of the information in our articles is based on what we have learned here. We have also tried to counter some of the misinformation in the medical and psychiatric literature about those seeking voluntary castration. (For example, the earlier literature states that MOST of those seeking voluntary castration are psychotic. Our research indicates that FEW are. Most, but not all, are fully rational and are making carefully considered decisions.)
Other than the fiction and fantasy of the Story Board, the main focus of the Archive Message Board today is Body Integrity Identity Disorder (BIID) and Gender Incongruence (GID), though nothing related to testosterone, testicles and, by extension, the rest of the external genitals is off limits for discussion. Some of it is cool and rational; some of it is wild and fantastic. Its all here.
A major function of the moderators, in addition to keeping the conversations civil, is to try to maintain a separation between fiction and reality. Newcomers ask important questions and some of the long-time members try to provide accurate and detailed answers.

Re: To much smut here
I'm not at home right now but the place at home where I would normally log onto this post, I cannot. I am not able to do so because the website access to EA is now blocked and I am unable to access this site at home anymore. It is considered to be... Oh well (due to pictorial content as opposed to verbal). So whenever I go on the road I take my little Acer One laptop in my little poker chip briefcase and I'm able to read the Eunuch Archive sometimes and catch up on any reading then. Tragedy is that I feel that this clasification of EA could have been easily avoided. But then I don't want a Mister Roger's version of it either. Maybe someone could take the time and put all pertinent information onto a family clean website somewhere but that would be pretty time consuming considering the amount of info on here. What to do. What to do. What to do...

I think one thing that mlooking2 might find worthwhile is to go through the postings and print out the stuff that he deems relevant. He can edit out any smut if he so wishes.
He would end up with a collection of valuable and mostly relevant information the he and girlfriend could study and, as a result, become well informed on the whole topic.
Regarding the smut aspect, I suggest do not be too censorious. A lot of guys have been through some emotional trauma in this area and one way to deal with it is to make jokes about it. Think of it as therapy rather than smut. Well, in many cases it is.

Re: To much smut here
I think its good that this place exists (of course) since it benefited me directly but I also get what the original poster is saying. That said. The story section? Is just random "internet fiction" and nothing in it should be taken as any kind of blueprint for reality. Nor should the stories on alt.sex of course.
I think the work of Jesus and his crew is of great value because yes, there is this stigma that the only valid reason for an orchiectomy is Testes cancer. *Assuming that anything else MUST be insanity. I come from that Orchialgia subgroup that can report that there is a weird standard for obtaining an orchiectomy.
I've never quite resolved myself in the whole question of people who just want to have their testes removed because they think about sex too much. The first issue that comes to my mind is that I think people who ask for this are maybe not very clear what it means to have no testicles. Its not just a way to reduce sex drive. For one thing in most people it removes it totally. (There are exceptions of course.) Second its about the other side effects. A lifetime of bone loss concerns, mental health issues (Like crushing depression) and its NOT because the person changes their minds about having their testicles removed. Its Hormones! And along with it comes weight gain, lots of mood and energy problems. Other mental health issues can pop up like anxiety.
And then it comes back to the first question. Your in a relationship and you think about sex too much. How much IS that exactly? And does the person your with consider this a plus or a negative? I think some men are under the impression that women don't have sexual needs because women feel that expressing them makes them look trashy, slutty or whatever. A serious adult conversation about that before you start wondering how to destroy your sex drive is (I think) in order. Then you need to ponder the baggage that comes with any form of castration. Talking to a good therapist who does Gender Identity disorder and looking into the deeper motives is (I think) a great idea as well. Then talking to your Family Doctor about doing this on some kind of chemical basis. One that can be undone as long as your not doing it for (max) more then 6 months. You want to have a doctor checking your labs to be sure your not doing some "other" damage to yourself. Liver Function etc.
If your finding info on EA that supports your thoughts on why this all sounds good to you I urge you to seek out the source and try to discover if its for real *A real person who has done this. Or is a post from a poser who is writing some fiction. Just because its on the internet don't make it fer real!
Anyway, before you "sell" this idea to your significant other think about it and be careful what you wish for.
