Eunuch Breast Exam

Post by bobbie (imported) »

Being an eunuch for many years the question of comes up. I was tested for osteoporosis nearly 5 years ago, The test was positive. I started on medication to recovering the effects.

Doctor does see any sense of preforming a prostrate examine. Not sure if he will do a PSA test. Last was very low 2 years ago. The prostrate levels were claiming up the past few years. Very small levels. Almost off the scale

The remaining question remains for eunuch's. Just how do we examine our breasts. I had just about no increase in size.

I am aware of one member who went through breast exam (mammogram)- partly to know what it was like, partly because it should be done if one has breasts). Can't relay his experience, but there it is. I suppose if you have no breasts and no lumps, it likely would not be an issue. Same with prostate cancer. No T, prostate shrinks, nothing to feed any cancers, presume risk is low. Exam can't hurt! Good old finger, along with PSA test. If the Dr. is cute, a DRE can be fun, otherwise, just a finger up there....

I'm getting a physical on Friday. I hope the doctor is cute! ;)

My prolactinoma was producing five times the prolactin level of a lactating woman before I was diagnosed, consequently, I developed quite a rack. Although my breasts have become smaller now that I have been treated, and the tumor suppressed, I did find a couple of small lumps last year, oddly enough while simply scratching an itch.

My doctor sent me to an imaging center where they did a ultrasound exam. The ultrasound revealed the lumps to be lipomas, small, benign, fatty tumors that are of no consequence. If the ultrasound had shown them to be hard I would have gotten a mammogram and any further diagnostic procedures required. The doctor at the imaging center told me that in twenty years of practice he had found lumps in a man's breasts to be breast cancer only twice, but better safe than sorry.
