Backup Chat Server

Will whoever is in charge of the Backup Chat Server, Please turn it on soon. We are getting numerous disconnections every night and are loosing people because of it.

I was disconnected three times tonight so far. It's frustrating.

Based on recent abysmal server issues, Mac's post was quite calm.

PS, if in doubt, give it (chat) a spin at various times. Sure, sometimes it works fine for some for perhaps extended amounts of time, then BAM, you're booted.

I remember those days, it happened to me all the time, really pissed me off as the chat server was sitting next to me and I was the only one that ever got kicked. Everybody else thought it was funny as hell.

I don't miss the chat server being in my house, I don't miss being in charge of the chat room, I am glad someone else has that headache.

Maybe someday he too will be able to get the best home medicare can provide.

The server is actually up and running and backing up the EA proper. I am awaiting instructions from the frigid Canadian north country on a few more things to do to make it functional as the chat server backup. It even has a noisy new fan in it...
