I am gone for a while and I come back and this is posted on the Webpage...
One morning, about three years ago now, I was awoken in the middle of the night. The person at the other end of the phone was talula, and he was telling me that I was the new head of the Eunuch Archive. I'd been volunteered. I can't remember what I mumbled before I hung up and went back to sleep, but clearly it was taken as an acceptance. Honestly, I think I was thinking it was a dream. Well, turns out it wasn't a dream, and for the last few years I have been the head of the Archive.
I feel talula started something though, and you know what they say, twice is tradition. So, without further adieu, in my final act as head of the Eunuch Archive, and without any warning whatsoever, I volunteer Kristoff to be my replacement and to lead the EA for the forseeable future. That's right, as of right this moment, Kristoff is your boss, no matter what he says, or how he objects. With that accomplished, I'm resigning, I quit, I'm done, I'm outta here. It's been fun.
