Today I am spending the day packing up and about to move back home after nearly 4 years in the Memphis area.

I'm unemployed at the moment, but I hope to change all that soon. Home has 0.5% lower unemployment rate than Memphis. That's not saying much, but we'll see.

I knew I was going to get laid off back in June 2008, so Ive hoarded cash since then and can survive for quite a while before things get stressful. With Obama I even can afford my COBRA Health coverage, so I'm fine there also. The least stressful unemployment situation yet. Thank Goodness for seeing ahead and having time to plan.

I intend to make it to the MoM this year in Wisconsin, but if I don't I'll have the good excuse of being freshly employed.

Thanks again for the warm birthday wishes. My roommate and I are going out for dinner and a movie to celebrate. A non-gay date with a friend.
