How has AIDS effected the Eunuch population ?

Seriously!

I suspect Eunuchs may even have a lower incidence of needle type drug use, as would also limit AIDS among Eunuchs. Just a guess.

I don't think there are enough of us around to conduct a scientific study. However, I know several eunuchs that are HIV+.

Well I think any one in the world is at risk of getting HIV if they have unprotected sex, or needle use, or bleeding gums and sexual behaviour, I am a eunuch and Poz, and I know loads of other eunuchs in the same position as nothing to do with any gendertype it as to do with sexual or lifestyle choice,or behaviours.

Many years ago I read a report by a third generation specialist saying that in some parts of the world in mixed nursing homes its been reported thats higher cases of HIV are occuring , as there third genration lifestyles werent necessarily as guarded as younger generations.

several eunuchs that are HIV+.

Funny you should ask that question. Not so much here , but the S&M eunuchs seems to be HIV+ to a man. Most were castrated after being infected, so I have often wondered if there is a connection, guilt and self punishment etc. If you look at the S&M eunuchs on the gay S&M 'recon" sites all of the eunuchs I have contacted there are HIV+

My EA fluency leaves something to be desired. I did not think of different Eunuch experiences.

I was thinking to the "born, male", deciding to become a Eunuch or made into a Eunuch at a time of life before sexual exploration, drug exploration as might promote the transmission of HIV.

Certainly we are all at risk of infection from medical or dental equipment contamination as has been reported and other means.

But, the question really centered on the Primary Eunuch with no previous sexual or drug explorations, risky behavior and HIV.

Thanks to all who responded and educated me to the S&M Eunuch. As I understand they generally become Eunuchs after S&M exploration. How about we call them, Secondary Eunuchs and what of the primary Eunuch?

HIV is more of a problem of sexual frequency, number of partners and sharing of dirty needles than it is a problem of sexual preference.

Some profiles mention, ' the Eunuch calm '.

From there I wondered about the HIV / AIDS connection.

Is the Eunuch calm a myth or just so much, uncalmness before becoming a Eunuch?

And if continuing risky behaviors after becoming Eunuchs, what does that say of the ? calm ?
