Friends Feature

Post by kristoff »

Over the past many weeks, I've had a number of comments and complaints regarding the Friends feature, notably with people feeling harrassed, others wondering why others are sending these, etc. A seemingly innocuous feature that seems to be causing a certain amount of consternation. For the moment I have turned the feature off. (What use it truly serves, I am unaware - there are no related features I've been able to discern.) If anyone has complaints, comments, pros, cons, whatever, post them here. I will re-consider as necessary.

i added people who i thought were interesting to my friend list. they have interesting things to say and i enjoy reading their posts. i liked it because i didnt have to search the member list every time i wanted to catch up on one of them, i had them neatly grouped on a single page.

i say keep it but if people have to waste your time and complain about something as simple as that then just delete it.

Amazing how easily offended or riled people are. If your skins is so thin that the friends feature gets to you, you need to get a life.

I like the friends feature and used it to invite friends. And I had a comment on a friend's invitation by a member/guest who is not on the members list. As a rather new member I didn't know what to think about a member who seemed not to excist.
