The Holy Pooper got fixed this AM for a total cost of $7.51, by my neighbor. Needed a new fill valve and float. I couldn't get the securing nut loose, so recruited neighbor to do the job. Works fine now, and I'm sure it will be ready for the MoM next summer! No contributions required!

Checked the mail box this morning, and was pleased to see a note from Dave. Along with the note was generous check to further support the EA. Thanks, Dave, much appreciated.

This is true. I know you hunted for it. Closest I find is a friend who likes black and white cows..

We've been at our fund-raising drive for about 3 weeks now. We've heard from 12 people - largely the same people who always respond, with great appreciation on my part. It has been a week now since we've seen anything in the PO Box or the PayPal mailbox. It is time for the rest of folks who are regulars who appreciate this site to support it. We need everyone to pitch in. It doesn't matter if it is $5 or $500 - if it works for you, it works for us. Contribute what you can afford. Some can't, and that's OK too; there's always another time. You can make my drive to the post office worthwhile by sending a donation via snail mail to

Wyrm Wyvern, Inc.

PO Box 68098

Minneapolis, MN 55418-8098

USA

or Via PayPal using the email

wyrmwyvern @ live.com

(Remove the spaces); you can sign up for free at PayPal.com

Looking forward to hearing from more of our members!

How is it going with the fundraising?

Do you have a goal? If so how close?

I was wondering about the server backup as well. So much data here in the blogs it would be a shame to loose it.

Another repeat donor sent a check, which I retrieved this morning from the PO Box. Woggler58 is the latest to heed the call for support of the EA. Thank you for a generous donation - much appreciated!

I would like to keep a year and a half of funds available - a prudent reserve if you will, to keep us afloat while scrambling to survive, in case everything went to hell. That amounts to just under $2,000US. We are half way there, thanks to very generous members. I would really like to see, aside from our regular, repeat donors, contributions from those others who appreciate the EA that haven't yet donated. The same group isn't always going to be there; we need to spread the footprint to a larger group!

Unfortunately, I am not currently able to donate. Hopefully that will change by the time the next drive comes around.
