Three percent hydrogen peroxide like you buy at the store mixed with dry white wine, half and half makes a good mouthwash. I also use it mixed with my shampoo since I've been gradually getting rid of the last of my once glossy black hair and go to having super silver hair instead. (It was inevitable.) There's also all kinds of other uses for h2o2 too too oh too too.

Yeah, Devi, I just printed a book at work espousing the huge medical benefits of drinking a specific dilution of food-grade hydrogen peroxide daily. Note, FOOD GRADE and percentage, people. Do research before you even READ this post.
It apparently is a very effective anti-cancer drug, and all-around health enhancer. I can't give more details; I don't have the book with me here... but the book seemed to have merit. I will research more and post better info soon, if there's an interest.
(I repeat, for the board's and my own sake, if any of you fuckers goes and drinks this stuff out of the bottle and dies, don't blame me. it's your own fault).

I believe it was Shel Silverstein who wrote:
"Little Katheryn took a drink, but she will drink no more. For what she thought was H2O, was H2SO4."

I remember that Shel Silverstein wrote "The Giving Tree," one of my all time favorite books... I don't remember that quote though. He wrote other books, "When the Sidewalk Goes Up" I think it was called, and others that I cannot remember.

This little rhyme goes back to at least the 1950s when I was in high school chemistry. A quick Google search turned up over 20,000 hits, but no original author. Nearly all versions have a two syllable female name: Kathryn, Katie, Kittie, Sally, Susan (the most common), Suzie, etc. I found only a single version with a male name: Johnny.
It's a proper folk saying....
I first heard it in Mr. Dunson's chemistry class in 1957-58 as:
Little Suzie was in chemistry,
Little Suzie is no more.
For what she thought was H2O
Was H2SO4.
