Thanks. I'll give Walking Dead a try as soon as I finish Sons of Anarchy. Between Netflix and torrents I should be able to start at the beginning.

I hear on the 5th season of walking dead that the Radical Right resurrects Jefferson Davis for the new Tea Party Civil War over Obama's re-election.

I wonder if there will be an appearance by a resurrected Abe Lincoln, Vampire Hunter...

somebody needs to make a zombie survival thread.

How would you guys defend yourselves against a zombie apocalyspe?

I remember reading a book called "The ultimate zombie survival guide"

-It was fun reading:D

Now stop that.

Start your own thread in the political section.

There might be three or four or five more seasons, easy.

I think there's over 18 volumes in the illustrated novels.

I hesitate to start a "zombie apocalypse preparation" thread because I might get burned out on all things zombie.

Anyway, tonight's episode of WALKING DEAD was excellently gory, bloody, and informative as to what might happen because all things (except resurrection) are possible.

Episode 7...

This is the first time they hit my "stop that" and "I don't want to see that" limit. I can take the zombie killings and the gore and the various rotting corpses that wander around getting destroyed but not torture.

The Governor is a ghastly creep and likes torture.

Lots of story development this week, lots of action, and next week is going to be interesting

Brothers Daryl and Merle meet up. (That's in the preview)

Michonne discovers the Governor's daughter (it's in the second preview)

I've watched the first three episodes of the first season. Still haven't made up my mind.

They use an extraordinary number of extras. I wonder if I could make a second career playing a zombie. What must the auditions be like?

What about a zombie thread from the point of view of the zombies?

a) it's filmed in Atlanta Georgia during the summer. They all look filthy and sweaty for a reason. Look for episodes of "THE TALKING DEAD" and they show the filming and makeup stuff.

b) my current anti-hero is turning into IAGO. I'd lose that and never finish the story if I got into a zombie's head.

BTW -- the scientist at the CDC reveals plenty about the zombie plague but you have to wait until those episodes.

Also, the dilemma of the Black man who aids Rick was what made me watch on...
