Not to break up the old-dude party (rolls eyes) (and giggles), but this thread reminds me of how very lucky I am, and moreso, my Dad, about age.

He turned 73 this year. During my basement renovations last year, he put up two panels of drywall for every one I did (I'm 41 and very healthy); he got hit in his car this summer and set off the airbag, giving him two black eyes and a broken nose, and later that night was joking about it and giving me a bearhug that almost broke my ribs; he can STILL beat me at arm wrestling (he has huge shoulders), and after hip-replacement surgery three years ago, joined a golf group and does 18 holes twice a week.

My ambition; be as healthy and smart as him at that age.

My fate; end up looking like an almagam of Mac and River by age 49 !!

Well, I might be older but its hard to tell. When I was born the calender hadn't been invented. I do remember though, that when I was a sweet (sort of) young thing, the latest hight tech gadget that all the cool kids just had to have was bronze.
