River is OLDER Than Me

Post by MacTheWolf (imported) »

I recall my H.S. graduation in 1964, River graduated in 1964 B.C.E.

I barely recall WWII. River recalls his life as a Centurian in Caesar's legions.

I studied about the Greeks in college. River dated Aristotle's sister.

I've read about the dinosaurs. River is.....well, you get the idea :)

I definitely expect rebuttals - heh heh

I graduated in 1965, it is possible that if Mac got that wrong he most likely got all the rest wrong as well, but you know how it is when senility hits, the first thing that goes is the mind, followed by babble.

The Truth, MacWolf is older then me, he is 64 and I am only 63. This is where in life a year is like a lifetime and Mac is several lifetimes older then I am. At least I was not a babysitter for GOD when he was a baby.

The year of graduation is largely irrelevant; I believe that back in the sixties there was no "social promotion" so you could graduate at 15 like Jayne Mansfield or be kept back several grades and graduate at 22. So someone who graduated in 1965 could be several years older than someone who graduated in 1964.

River and Mac-Wolfie sound like a couple of little kids squabbling on the elementary school playground.

“You’re older!”

“No, you’re older!!”

“No, I’m not. You’re older!?!”

At least they haven’t dragged Uncle Flo into this catfight – yet.

I’m older than all three of them, and I’ll proudly claim my position as senior Archive Moderator. They’re all still just kids as far as I’m concerned. (Gareth just acts like the adult here, though I'm older than he is too.)

Age has its privileges. Not many, but I can probably think of some if I try hard enough….

hmmm....I'm older than Jesus, sometimes, I think, older than either Jesus. If anyone can think of an advantage of being old - other than senior discounts - please let me know.

As to the senior discounts, give me ten years back, and I'll gladly give them up.

I debated if I should include you in the OLD group, I am with you I would gladly give up all the discounts for 10 years and my health.
