Re: Man has penis cut off with a chisel
No this is not typical of a saturday night out in glasgow, yes glasgow has problems but not any worse than anywhere else in the world. This sort of attack is not the sort of thing that happens that often. And as a footnote to the original post, this mah had his penis reatached, but i would recon it will be a while before they know if everything will be working, but there have been no arressts yest over this matter.

Most of this type of violent crime just happens to be done by criminal to criminal, statically that is.
And not only in Glasgow either.

I believe that was "The Valachi Papers" which was based on a biography.

Re: Man has penis cut off with a chisel
I wonder if a penis is reattached, is it ever the same? Maybe it depends on several things, like the time between removing it and reattaching it or the skill of the surgeon(s). I just can't believe it'll ever work as well as it did before being removed. Also, this penis was chiseled off, that's violent, and that tells me reattaching it was more difficult and problematic.

Yes the penis was saved, and it was reattached according to the news reports, it was done after he underwent micro surgery at a glsgow hospital.
The fact that the penis was removed with a chisel was avery violent act,and you need to ask what sort of person would do that sort of things to another person.

Very true, what sort of person does something like that... On the other hand, you also must ask yourself "Just what did this person do to incite such a cruel act to be perpetrated upon himself?"
I am not taking the perpetrator's side in this matter, but just pointing out that there are very few real maniacs out there. Most of these insanely cruel acts are acts of revenge, for some real or imagined wrong committed by the victim. While it may in fact be a completely unjustified act, it is in the greater likelihood an act done in response to some other thing done by the victim.
