Hate to take this off-topic, but man... I loved that cartoon so much I bought the 3-volume hard-cover box set of everything Watterson ever did relating to C+H. Still not finished it; each book is about 8 pounds 🙋

Really too bad he never reconsidered and decided to bring back his comic. He made an ungodly mint with it, but gave it up when his handlers/owners/whatever insisted on marketing products; he wanted nothing to do with such commercialization.

Calvin and Hobbes is still available online daily. They are re-runs, but completely worth it re-runs. :D
