ED causing castration/penectomy desire?

I had a curious little thought, and wanted to share it...

What if somebody was suffering from erectile dysfunction, and instead of taking Viagra, etc., they decided to simply get rid of their penis and/or testicles, their thinking being, "It doesn't work anyway, so I might as well cut it off..."?

Has anybody heard of something like this happening?

For me having my balls not work is just another reason for wanting them gone. They put me on hrt to fix a problem and created another. I just don't like who I am when I have to much T in my system. I f I am going to stay on very low T replacement why not get rid off the balls. I don't like them or need them. Why keep something that is useless when you could be smooth. If you feel like you are gender neutral why not look that way?
