There are two types of money, specie, which is made of metal, and currency, which is made of paper; the fact that the paper in US currency isn't made of wood pulp but of rag doesn't stop it from being paper; it is certainly not cloth.

Pulp paper with its high acid content is a relatively recent invention; the original papers were all rag and they are still flexible and unyellowed after 500 years, while crappy 70's books on pulp paper have nearly all self-destructed. And the red and blue threads in the rag paper of US currency are silk.

I didn't know Russian witches had pointy hats! I thought they lived in huts built on chicken's legs.

As for huts with chicken's legs. Yes. In Russian tales it is called izbushka na kur'ih nozhkah (избушка на курьих ножках).
