Just a dilemma

Got a phone call yesterday from one of my former young friends (grown up now and still a friend for life).

He had recognized me from an article in the newspaper Spits. He wanted me to know that I had his support, under one condition: I have to keep him informed about my feelings after the surgery.

Strange, I still need to find the urologist who is willing to help me, but I have the support from my parents, from my former (minor) friends and from the family of my present little friend.

Am I the only one, is this the normal way. What the hell is the problem with me, somehow this doesn't feel like scum........
