For me the changes were of the fat distribution/body shape variety. Most of the rest of me, including my beard, look about the same. --FLO--

You appearance doesn't change fast. You appearance will change faster if you are young. Depending on your genetics if you do not take HRT you will become more female looking with hips and breasts to very little changes. If you take HRT you can have no change to becoming more male looking.

With HRT, no changes except for down below of course. Without, I'm no help.

The amount of change is different with everyone. You change more the younger you are. If you are an older guy you will still be an older guy. Weight is the biggest change. With out HRT you may not age as fast. That may be very little difference. The skin can be some different, thinner and can need to use skin lotion for dryness.

If you're balding, your hair will stop falling out, though you might not regrow much new hair. Hypogonadism (castration) causes the facial cheeks to drop or fall. It's a sign of decreasing testosterone production or deprivation. Here's some additional info:
