For Your Entertainment at Wal-Mart

Post by Paolo »

If they've got cell phones on demo, do this -

Call your own phone.

Save the number, then leave, or hide somewhere in the store.

Call the demo phone back.

It's best to wait, hide behind the DVD's, and let someone really get into trying it out. Then call it.

"Uncle Dick?" you say, or somesuch, after the phone ringing has scared the hell out of them. They'll say, "Uh, no."

"Well is he around there?"

And sure enough, the shopper will ask around for Uncle Dick.:dong:

It's amazing how many total strangers will talk to you, and even try to help you.🆘

"Well, there's no employees in this area, can you ask the electronics guy if he knows where the roach killer is?"

And guess what? He knew!

Hours of entertainment. Wish we'd had a video of it.😄

I just sent myself a text about this post:

LMAO!

Did you learn this from one of the Bourne identity movies?

Maybe we could do it en masse on Gay at Home Day. What should we ask for on the demo phone on that day?

I'm such an evil person. The other day I had a great laugh watching to extremely obese people arguing over who got the last electric buggy at the local WalMart.

I do so love Wal-Mart for the entertainment value!

Never seen anyone fighting over buggies, though!

LOL

I need to get a G3 a new pair of Heelies so he can skate there, though. He outgrew the last pair. 11 years old, size 8 feet...geeez...same size as me now.

The cell phone idea was the brainchild of his older brother, 17. It just came to him. I was so impressed with that flash of genius. It doesn't happen too often...

Yes, it is winter here.

...If it's a pretty lady you can ask her if she can find Mike Hunt...

...let me know so I can be there so she can ask me, "...do you know where Mike Hunt might be?" Then I can take her out to the van and show her...

I've not entered a Wal-Mart in over three years (with one exception, the one in a small Yuppie and Old German settlers town...it IS clean and the mobs of the great unwashed don't dare enter.) and I've vowed I won't ('cept for the aforementioned one, and that's only when I hunt in that area.)

Those are THE most disgusting places, especially the further south you go here in Texiz.

How was the brew? There for Octoberfest? Maybe someday I'll get back down that way. I don't know.
