We have reached our goal! We thank the 3,000 people who have taken the time to answer our questionnaire.

As of a few minutes ago, 3,012 people had completed the survey. This includes 254 who have been surgically castrated, 106 chemical eunuchs, 23 who have been penectomized, but still have their testicles, and 69 who have been nullified. There are also responses from 1,349 wannabes who are seeking castration and 1,211 from people who are interested in the subject, but not seeking castration.

This will be a rich source of data for us to analyze over the next few months. We will, of course, let everyone here know when articles based on the survey are published and will make them available to members here.

The four scientific papers based on the first survey, which had a total of 996 responses, are available to anyone who sends me a <Private Message> requesting them that includes an email address that will accept PDF attachments.

We will be closing the survey on Monday, December 1 and will begin our analysis of it immediately afterwards.

If you have not yet taken the survey and are willing to do so, now is your last chance to add your information to the study.

I agree, kennath7, this is very good news. As additional well designed, science-based studies are published on the contemporary eunuch community (and those grappling with a gender identity that is neither male nor female or body integrity issues), I have the hope that this poorly served, largely unseen group will get more respect and help from therapists and physicians.

I have a number of eunuch friends on the Archive and they are terrific people. I took this survey. At some point, Jesus will need to explain which of the categories he divides the survey takers into fits me.
