Plastic Ingredient May Cause Smaller Penises

A common chemical ingredient in plastics has been linked to smaller penises and incomplete descent of testicles in baby boys. Phthalates, which are added to plastics to keep them soft and pliable, are linked to a feminizing effect on boy fetuses whose moms had above-average levels of the chemical in their urine while pregnant. Moms who had the highest amounts gave birth to boys with more feminine characteristics.

Scientists have been concerned about the effects of the phthalates, known as DEHP, because rodent studies showed it had a negative effect on the masculinity of young rats.

Current research conducted in three different areas of the United States, showed their concerns were well-founded. Scientists found a definite correlation between levels of the chemical in pregnant moms and a feminizing effect on their sons. They theorize that phthalates may reduce testosterone synthesis.

Phthalates are added to many personal care products including perfume, nail polish and hair spray. They are also included in many cosmetics, but the consumer is unaware because they are not specifically listed on the label, hiding under other items such as fragrances.

Damn...

I hope Grand-Godson Mason (due on Halloween) doesn't have this problem.

His mom is always using plastics; soda bottles, water bottles, you name it...

Obviously this is being done deliberately in small gradual doses in the hope that people don't notice. Since about 1950 male fertility has been in steady, gradual decline and the incidence of congenital defects in male genitals has steadily increased.

This gradual emasculation is obviously a plot to make men less aggressive and more biddable. It is happening throughout the western world.

Who is behind it? Obviously the women's lib movement and they are probably being funded by Al Qaida and Communist China. Once all western males are neutered, probably in another decade or so, the Al Qaida people will step in and get their 72 virgins in this life instead of the next. Meanwhile the Chinese are onto a special breeding programme so that they will have the kit to satisfy western women.

Now how's that for a conspiracy theory?

It is a historical fact that when the Chinese invaded and expanded their territory, the standard practice was to kill the adult males, castrate the younger ones, and then take the women and breed with them. Add to this the fact that the Chinese have had this "one baby" law for a while, and there are a disproportionate number of men and boys in China who will never be able to find a wife. This time, they've not conquered anyone via force of military - they've done it with money and on paper. And they're winning.

Makes you wonder...

There was a story a while back and a link was posted about an ingredient in some shampoos called tea tree oil that along with another ingredient (lavender oil, I think) was causing gynocomastia in boys. Gynocomastia is the appearance of feminine breasts in men/boys. It does seem that there is a lot of questions to be asked about this sort of thing. When my mother was pregnant in the 1950's there was a prescription being handed out to women who had miscarrages or high risk pregnancies that has been linked to small penises in their offspring. I forget the name of this drug but I wonder about it every time I go to the bathroom.

Are you thinking of Thalidomide, the drug that caused massive amounts of birth defects and deformities? It was prescribed in the early 50s for morning sickness in women who were pregnant, until the realities came home to bite the medical establishment on their writing hands.

I think he was referring to this:

di·eth·yl·stil·bes·trol (d# ethÅÃl stil besÆtrôl, -trol), n. Pharm.

a nonsteroidal synthetic estrogen, C18H20O2, used in medicine chiefly in the treatment of menopausal symptoms and in animal feeds for chemical caponization: formerly used during pregnancy for the prevention of miscarriage but discontinued owing to its association with an increased risk of vaginal and cervical cancers in women having had fetal exposure. Abbr.: DES

Also, di·ethÅyl·stil·boesÆtrol.

[1935–40; DI-1 + ETHYL + STILBESTROL]

Thalidomide was never approved in the USA.

It's not Thalidomide that I was thinking of, I definitely remember Thalidomide. What a nightmare that was. It is more likely the second drug mentioned as now that I read the above post, I do remember it being for morning sickness and that there was a connection to cervical cancer. When your talking about cancer, small penises take a back seat as a side effect.
