Aesthetics = Fetish?

One of the questions that I struggle with is the aesthetic of a castrated male. For some reason I have always found the look attractive.. It seems to restore a clean, almost innocent look to the genital area. The way the penis hangs, almost looks more natural in some strange way.

I guess this is a fetish, and I hope this post is not offensive to the eunuchs who have been castrated for religious reasons. But how do the eunuchs on here feel about their appearance?..There seems to be a wide spectrum of eunuchs who are comfortable showing their bodies and those who are apparently so humbled by the change that they do not .

The online images I have seen of eunuchs are not attractive. The men look fat. Their bodies are not well-defined or muscular. I am old and overweight--so I suppose I am voicing self-disgust, but there is nothing attractive in the images I see. I enjoyed my youthful body and I even mourned its loss, b ut the payoff of maturation was more appealing than the loss of innocence.

Having endured the loss of libido and other results of medication, I have come to find the eunuch life less appealing than my former life. I admit that there are some advantages to eunuch life, but in balance it is literally lacking.

Milkman, Blaise, even though you have different points of view on the subject, I actually agree with both of you.

First, I have ALWAYS hated the look of my own genitals, and I think a scrotum just looks UGLY. From the time I was first aware of that thing between my legs, I thought it looked ridiculous and envied girls smooth look down there.

Second, as much as I dislike my own genitals, I LIKE the look of some other men's genitals. And, dislike it or not, good functioning testicles help keep a man from getting fat. So I also agree with Blaise, that after men are castrated, they more often than not put on more and more pounds. IF it were easier for a eunuch to keep slim after castration, I would find that look much more aesthetically appealing than that ugly scrotum hanging there.

I agree with Milkman in that some castrated men look aesthetically more pleasing and I think that's because the penis hangs differently when there's nothing else there.

I don't agree that eunuchs are automatically condemned to getting fat. Many guys get heavier as the years go by simply because they eat more and take less exercise. When I was castrated in Spring 2001 I weighed 67 kilos (about 145 pounds). Seven years on and my weight and body shape have remained the same. I eat a healthy balanced diet and do a lot of walking and jogging. I'm not trying to be Mr Goody Two-Shoes here but calorie intake is a big problem in the UK, and there are a lot of obese pre-pubescent kids, never mind middle-aged eunuchs. If you look at the eunuchs in India,

castrated for religious reasons,

they are all really slim due to a vegetarian diet and periods of religious fasting.

First, re the Hijras. I've seen SOME (not in person, thank God!) that ARE on the plump side, but hey, that's their dealio.

Ahhhhh...The "Look" of a castrated male. Yes, there are some snippees in my little treasure trove of images that tend toward the overly chubby, but some that are "pleasingly plump" or somewhat slender (so far.)

I've noted that some of the Asian Ladyboys that have either been castrated or undergone total SRS have remained trim and I've recently met a castrated (only) Ladyboy (Thai) who lives in the Houston area and who has a delightful and totally feminine appearance, including very pretty and perky natural bewbs. "She" was castrated as a teen, so she had a head start on her body's transformation.

I've recently discovered pics and vids of someone called "Mandy T-Girl". There are some of her and her goodies BEFORE castration (pics AND vids) so well as after (pics only, so far, but I'm patient.) Mandy is a white American, apparently living in the Pacific Northwest, and is, so far, still very slight of form and figure. Since her castration was quite recent her peepee (I know, but that sounds better than "Penis" to me, just as "Baggie" beats "Scrotum" by far.) seems just as large and erectile as before the snip.

I DO love the look of a peepee minus it's "batteries". Some look so sweet and innocent! I'll admit I sometimes salivate like Pavlov's Pooches when I gaze upon them!

Being fortunate enough to have an up-close-and-intimate (touchy, feely, + more) relationship with a wonderfully nice eunuch, Barry, and a "Look and inspect only" acquaintanceship with two other eunuchs (three, counting the Asian "girl",) I can see, compare, and appreciate some of the variations in a eunuch's "Look" in person so well as via the internet. Of course, I'm always in the hunt for more!

Baggies...Keep 'em or snip 'em? Well, all four snippees that I know on a personal basis have retained their sacks. Barry's is little more than a small "teabag" beneath his peepee and was, according to him, always rather small, as were his ballsies. The Ladyboy's baggie is present but is also very "discreet", perhaps due to "her" age at castration. The other two eunuchs have baggies that seem to contract or sag at random times and that's fun to see too.

The way a peepee hangs, especially if a fair amount of time has passed since castration and there's been no HRT, depends (it's my guess) on how large it was pre-snip. A guy whose peepee was 9 inches long and rather thick will remain more dangly than a eunuch whose item was smaller to begin with (See: Barry.)

The sight of a "Big 'un" dangling down past where it's lost companions once dwelt IS a turn-on for me (and YOU too, I'll bet!) but my faves are the sweet and innocent-looking small ones. Those don't dangle much if at all, at least not the ones I've seen. Some point almost straight ahead and look as though they are trying to totally retract into the belly...cuties!

Many of these have their little heads totally hidden by the "hoodie" and some circumcised peepees seem to have regrown their foreskins although that is just the result of loose skin deriving from shrinkage of the "Meat of The Matter", or so I suppose.

I think you've hit the perverbial nail on the head.

I've never been shy about exposing my genitals just because I no longer have testicles (also since 2001). Most people casually seeing me nude seldom notice what's lacking in any event. Certainly they don't focus on it. Occasionally, guys I've had casual sex with have asked what happened to my balls? It's usually a genuine enquiry - nothing more.

I'm a member of a gay nudist group here in Vancouver, and I paraded nude with other members of the club before close to half a million spectators in last year's gay pride parade. And I'm often nude in many other situations when not nearly so many people see me. It's no big deal.

Nor is it necessary that people gain weight following castration. I was ~70 kg 7-8 years ago when castrated, and I'm now ~66 kg (175 cm tall). Even as we age, we just have to pay a little closer attention to intake. We also have to assure we exercise sufficiently. I don't think there are many who disagree that everyone looks better thin.
