When replying to a post and using the "quote" option, why not delete all but the particular portion of the quote to which you are responding or making inquiry about? This'll save a lot of space, scrolling, etc.
Example to follow this post.
Yoli
A modest proposal from Yoli.

See wot I mean? This will be especially useful when responding to a lengthy post.

Good notion. If doing so, just make sure that the and tags are left in place. The end quote also has brackets - left off so you can see them

Re: A modest proposal from Yoli.
Yoli, you offer sound advice and I already do delete the excess parts of a quote when I answer someone else's post, but you know something? There are OTHER things you can do inside someone else's quote. Here, check this out
Of all the people who post here, "Deacon Blues" is CLEARLY the most eloquent, intelligent and interesting to read. Everyone else's post are ok I guess, but really, the Deacon has the rest beaten by a wide margin. He really is the greatest person I know and he is irresistably attractive. If he has ANY flaw at all, it is that he is so damn humble and modest.
Yoli
OH, THANKYOU "YOLI!" I agree with "you" completely!
