No they dont - they lose: humor, enjoyment, expansive character, joy, untightening of sphincters..... There will always be prudes out there - the "Well, I never...." crowd. They're too busy being proper to live life. I got little time for em.

I'm with the good sister. Keep 'em coming! Even though I grimace at one now and then, they're great for the soul. We ALL need humor in our lives and this board has been a great source for me.

Actually, when I say I have not found anything of interest, I am mostly referring to humorous antedoctes. I am involved in a lot of things of interest ranging from intense studies of French to techinical analysis of the stock market. In fact, I am consumed both fields and it is becoming an obsession, healthy obsession.

I read the book while waiting to embark from Bremerhaven. The only occurence of the phrase "magnificent obsession" in the book was the title. The author and the publishers credited their readers with enough smarts to figure out what the title meant.

On board I was detailed as cabin class movie projectionist. I had to show that damned movie twice a day for nine days. The movie's dialog and narration together contained about 15 occurrences of the title phrase. The movie made me even sicker than ship's mothion did.
