Sorry to ask something I guess loads of people have asked before and put you in a deep situation of stress:
When will it be possible again to post stories in the archive?

It's at the bottom of the priority list.
What you have to realize is that the scripts that ran the story submission / edit processes were hand-written and also HUGE.
Every single one of them has to be gone through line by line to look for signs of hacker infection, so that what happened doesn't happen again.
Remember how long it took to get the index/search feature back again? Multiply that by about 100 and you've got how large those scripts are.
