Erasing Puberty

Post by farharbour (imported) »

I was thinking of how happy I was before the onset of puberty. I would have this uncomplicated happy feeling that I have not had since my system has been under the influence of T. Do any eunuchs feel that they have returned or recaptured some of that innocent happiness?

I have changed with castration. I would find it hard to say that I returned to how I felt before puberty. Think so many things in your life chage as you age that nailing down the T factor will be very hard. My life is maybe a little more smooth now but most of the factors that effected my life 5 years ago still effect them today.

Hi FarHarbour,

Yes, I've recaptured the innocence. It's nice not thinking of others in a sexual way. Also, I've returned to being the sensitive person I was before T came along.

As for happiness, my situation is complicated by transgendering as you know. One may enter into castration hoping to be a happy loner, no longer servile to hormonal drives. However, as Tugon stated elsewhere, the hormonal changes could have you looking for a cuddling partner at least.

The situations (childhood and adulthood) are probably not comparable. In childhood, one has siblings/parents and no adult responsibilities. Sure, that can make for happiness. As adults, we've seen and/or experienced a lot of 'trash' we couldn't have conceived of as children. Also, you can't remake the family you had as a child, at least not without being the responsible head of it.

You've been thinking about castration...why not take the plunge and try chemical castration for awhile?

Just make sure to separate out what kind of "happy" you are really looking for. Are you seeking freedom from sexualized thought and related stresses? Are you seeking a more comfortable body self-image? Are you just trying to recapture childhood?

I suggest that castration will mainly help in the first case -- i.e. relieving you from stress of sexual obsessions and thinking.

Just really think deeply about what your true discontent is. Don't just fall into "grass is always greener" mentality.
