Maybe you feel you need to go off and think; I actually hope not. I am entirely with Paolo, Krister and Sag111 and agree with them.

Some mirrors get dusty and unloved, some mirrors have a bright polish - an area where so much clarity shines back. Such a mirror brings happiness.

Forget the ogre, don't punish yourself. Krister is spot on about Eunuch mood swings and it can be very positive because through them, we grow.

The 'low swings' can get pretty low, but Roger after the snowstorm the sun comes out again, doesn't it?

Roger,
kristoff wrote: Mon Mar 06, 2006 9:41 pm One thing I am very aware of is that without testosterone, or very much of it (case in point, me), some of us tend to be rather emotional, perhaps flighty, certainly a bit exhuberant at times, lots of different descriptives. There is a certain tendency toward self-deprecation..... You are no exception.

You refer to yourself as crazy, blah, blah..... You are nothing of the sort, and I would appreciate it very much if you stopped knocking about an intelligent human being who is certainly entitled to some critical thought, emotional feeling, political value, and the willingness to share a viewpoint. Your input here is more valuable than you know, and especially at a critical time in YOUR experience, which is essential and critical to others in the same place.

I am not going to beg you to stay. That is entirely your choice. I just want you to know that your experience is valuable, pertinent, and important. Without self-deprecation or self-"put-downs." You would be sorely missed, as much this time as the last time you took your leave.

If you choose to leave, go with peace and comfort, May you have the best always.

K

Krister said it better than I could. Sadness had me tounge tied. Sad because you are hurting and sad because I will miss your insights. You are respected, loved and will always be welcomed back home to the EA.

Until one day he catches his reflection in the mirror.

At first he blames the mirror - possibly one of those funny carnival ones. Realizing that no part of his face had been distorted, he realized the mirror was actually quite unbiased.

He then looks at the other side of his face, only to understand why people run away.

The orgre needs to go and think about this for a while.

You are no ogre. If you remember my posts about a heinous person in my life you know I know what an ogre looks like. Young sir you are a beautiful person.

For our "foreign policy", I would advocate having completely "open borders". Anyone who comes in is welcome to stay as long as they are people who discuss things rationally and don't cause trouble. Doesn't matter if there's a eunuch, a wannabe, or just someone who wants to know more about eunuchs.

"To be or not to be that is the question" only we ourselves can find the answer, but as the poem says "stay stay until the hasting has run, and having prayed together, we shall go with u along" there is strength in our togetherness if we have difference of opinions that is the element that makes EA so wonderful. We should be all tolerant of each other, as there are those who are, does who would like to be, those who are afraid to be, but in tolerance of each others position we can find strength to be as we aspire to be.
