Dr. Richard Wassersug is going to march in the parade this coming Saturday.

This will be in Halifax so it is not easy to get to. All are welcome of course.

Richard plans on marching behind a banner that states "The Eunuch Group" and he will have some co-workers and his family walk next to him. He plans on wearing a full tux - minus a shirt. He will be giving out cards as he walks along.

This is totally unexceptable in my eyes so I have booked tickets for Halifax and plan to walk with him. This is important.

Together we will walk, with no shirts, he in his tux, and me in whatever I can find, but this is important.

With his cards defining what a eunuch is, and me with buttons suggesting "Have you hugged a eunuch today", it should be a way to really put ourselves in the public eye in a way that is friendly and caring.

With your permissions I have paid for the trip out of some of the archive account and most of my life savings. This is how important this trip is.

Now may be a good time for an Archive Bake Sale. If everyone here would check his or her Internet browser's "cookie" file and then send Talula U.S. 10 cents per cookie, I'm sure the entire trip would be paid for.

I'm certainly planning to make my contribution, and I hope others will too.

Almost everything on the Archive is funded out of Talula's pocket. It's time, again, for the rest of us to chip in a bit.

You know for a free site, this is the best group of people I have ever met. I too will be helping, I am the taxi service to and from the airport. I can tell you folks that talula puts in countless hours making this site better.

Riverwind and I spent all evening making buttons that have one of the graphics from the front page (the bearded bard with the semi-naked woman). At the top of the graphic is reads "Have you hugged a eunuch today?".

"So?", says the gentle reader. "Why are you doing all this?".

Primarily because this is the first time that I know of, in the Western world, that two eunuchs will march together in a highly publicized parade where we (Richard, Richard's crew, and myself) will show to the earth that we are not freaks, nor un-natural, nor un-friendly, nor all the misconceptions that people may have about males without testicles. It is our intention to do the opposite and to open some eyes. This is the least I can do to help represent the zoo we have built here though it will cost me over a half a month's pay not including buttons and food.

The packing of the bags now begins.

I know I'm a bit late (it couldn't be helped) but a check is in the mail on the way to Eunuch Central. Use it as you see fit.

With so many members here I'm sure anyone can afford just a few dollars, maybe just use some lunch money. I don't think it's too much to ask of anyone to keep a great place such as this running. Pull out the sofa cushions, go through those winter jackets and gather up that change.
