Poker/Heaven

Post by MacTheWolf (imported) »

Dolly Parton and Queen Elizabeth II die on the same day. They appear before the Pearly Gates together where they are met by an angel, who tells them he only has room for one of them.

The angel says to each of the women, "show me something so I can judge who enters Heaven."

Dolly opens up her blouse and displays her magnificient boobs. The angel agrees that they are magnificient.

Queen Elizabeth II takes out a bottle of Perrier, gargles for a minute, spits the water into a commode and flushes.

The Angel says, Queen Elizabeth II, you may enter the gates.

Dolly was pissed. She says "I show you the most beautiful pair of boobs in the world and yet you choose an old queen who spits and flushes...what gives"?

The Angel says, "even here in Heaven, a Royal Flush beats a pair."

It was downright pathetic! I wonder if the French love the slaughtering of their language?

Inaccurate too. The Queen uses Malvern water normally. The Perrier was probably what was in the cistern.

LOL

The joke was probably invented by the people who did the TV commercial for Buxton mineral water, which emphasised the Englishness of the product by using Elgar's Cello Concerto as the 'background' music.

Elgar, of course, is very strongly associated with Worcestershire, particularly the Malvern area.
