Six months ago. Dan and I sat down and did his memorial show, then Dan, Gemm, Tom, Krister, Robby, myself, and a lot of other people went to his stand up memorial.

P.S. I miss him so badly.

Re: Bboy, as the world turns
Bboy's passing left an immense void in the world. I only spent a few hours in he presence, but it was absolutely clear that he was one of the most remarkable people I have ever met. Not even knowing him well, I miss him tremendously. In his few short years, Bboy touched a great many people - the Archive being only a small part of his accomplishments.
What he did here to start and sustain this community of support was wonderful. His work to help children is what he will long be known for in the larger public.

Re: Bboy, as the world turns
I think it's inevitable that, when someone founds something, like this archive, something of himself is embodied in the entity which he started. BBoy set a certain tone for the archive, and that tone still seems to characterize it. Like most archive members, I never communicated directly with BBoy, but came to feel I knew him, through his posts, and, of course, through the nature of the archive he originated. This is one of those situations where there are a lot of things I would have liked to talk to him about, a lot of his ideas that would have been interesting to know--and, now that he is gone, it's a matter of regret that we never had any interchanges of that kind.
And if he liked Mexican food, I can think of a dozen places we could have gone and indulged in that cuisine. I guess, life is too short, and the tamales are getting cold.

Re: Bboy, as the world turns
Bboy and I had lots of correspondence during the early days of the E.A.
Because of some of the folks initially attracted to the E.A., I was at times in hot water with some people associated with the E.A.
With Bboys wisdom he soon found the way to preserve the E.A. as a fantasy kind of place while maintaining safety for all who ventured here not to get into trouble here at this place.
The E.A. is now an oasis in a vast Internet virtual world that seems to be expanding faster than the universe itself.
Yes, Bboy is still here. HE IS this place, and it is him.
We benefit from his gentle soul and how he found his way through this life to overcome his own personal demons and to build a respite for others who are attempting to overcome their own terrors.
May God look over all and continue to allow Bboys' spirit to dwell here and to guide the E.A. as those here attempt to find a measure of peace and solitude.

Yes talula, you know how much we miss him. We think of him every day. The last time I saw him was in the hospital a couple hours before he passed away, I am so glad that I had the chance to say goodbye.
Until we meet again,

A1,
Nobody could say this with better words! You met the target! I only can agree! This place is a real oasis for all people interested in Eunuch concerns.
There is no better place in the whole world!
