Last night at about 1:30 central I had power failer at my house, everything went down, lights, clocks, PC's, pumps to the fish tanks, you get the idea. I went to bed about 10 minutes before that. At 9:30 this morning I found that nothing was working. After resetting all the breakers everything came up in its turn.

Don't worry. Everyone has power problems from time to time. For a while my power company kept sending elevated voltage consistently at 4am and it would stay that way for a couple hours. My computer UPS would go off and start to go crazy as the battery power dwindled. They finally corrected it after a couple months.
I have a feeling that power problems will generally get worse over time as the long distance interstate transmission power lines reach near 100% capacity. Too bad regulation makes it so hard to build new ones!

Understandable, RW.
It's getting to be the norm around here in the spring/summer, when the storms begin rolling in, to be without power for days at a time. Good thing the server isn't here!
