Today TheFraj sent me a link to an episode of a childrens TV program that was popular in England in the 1970s. He remembers rushing home from school every day so that he could watch it.
It was only when he saw the episode in the link that he realized how much of the series had gone right over his young head.
The scene opens with Zippy peeling a banana...
Zippy: "One skin, two skin, three skin, four.... "
My favorite line, though, is when Geoffrey says, If you haven't got any balls, ask a friend if you can play with his. While the kiddies may have been thinking of rubber balls, its clear that the cast had something else in mind.
Check out the entire sequence for yet more double entendres:

I very much liked the host in the rainbow colored sweater, who reminded me a great deal of the Weasley twins in the Harry Potter films. Actually, I don't know how this EVER got by anyone for broadcast!
Combined with Bugs Bunny in drag and Klinger on M*A*S*H, it's no wonder that our generation grew up like it did...

I wondered how I came to become the person I am today :nutsycuck . I never thought that 'Rainbow' was the cause but now that Jesus reminds me of the series, I know the truth!
