Bagoas,
You need to take more time in developing your stories and be more specific. A good author will describe the way a castration is completed and not just say, "she sliced off my sack and that was that.

And here I thought eunuchs liked long winding stories.
Though each writer should have her/his own style, detail is sometimes just too critical to the story to be left out. I must agree that I'd like to see more detail in your stories, Bogoas. Of course, we can't dictate your style, this is just some constructive criticism.

See, kids, this is where instead of complaining, you go write your own stories with as much detail in them as you see fit. He put in as much as he felt was needed, as do we all.
I'm just glad to see more gay authors on the archive. Keep it up, bud.

Re: Author Bagoas
I agree that some of my stories are rather brief, even almost sketchy. I have been deterred from submitting longer stories by a frustrating incident concerning the submission of a longer early story of mine "From the Diary of Nathaniel Brewster, June 13, 1852"
I had nearly finished typing this story when my connection to AOL was DISconnected by the "remote host." and the story was lost. When I stopped fuming and raving, I decided that I'd been online too long without sending anything, so, since then, I have submitted short stories which I am fairly sure I can finish typing before AOL gets antsy. The amount of detail I use varies from one story to another as does the style, from deliberately verbose and pedantic in "The Onanist Cured" to simple and earthy in "Momma Fixes Willy" depending on the character of the narrator of the story. I try to avoid displaying erudition for its own sake. This is sophomoric. I do intend to submit longer stories with more character development in the future. Having tried the waters with some of my shorter stories, I find that the response has been positive enough to go to the trouble of typing some more fully developed ones.

Regarding your connection problems, is there a reason you can't type them up in a local program (like Notepad for windows...not sure what's common on a mac) and then cut n' paste them in? That way you wouldn't have to save them or anything (if you prefer not to leave them around) but if your connection dies you can just redial and paste it in again.

Glad to hear it. And yeah, you probably should write them beforehand with a word processor so you can just cut and paste. I do that even with long posts on the forums, to avoid having to write them all over again.
