Just for the record I have three grown-up children and five grandchildren. I was very pleased to get Fathers' Day cards from all of them.

My wife and I were very active sexually in the early days of our marriage. Our first son arrived just nine months and six days after the wedding. His brother arrive eleven and a half months later. In September for two months our children's ages will be 42, 41 and 40. By our sixth wedding anniversary we had four children. A vasectomy three months after the birth of our fourth child put an stop to any more. Sadly, the fourth - a daughter - was killed in an accident aged two and a half years but we do still have three children and the grandchildren to enjoy.
