Sag, Ive read dozens of your posts, and never had any trouble figuring out what you were saying in any of them. It's necessary to have grammatical rules and standards for a variety of reasons, but it's silly to enforce them strictly on everybody all the time. For short messages in a forum like this, the standard should simply be whether what is said is comprehensible or not.

And your posts often show more good sense and good will than posts by individuals whose spelling and grammar don't have any errors. Your posts are worth reading and your attitude is refreshing, so I hope you continue to participate in the archive.

Hi Sag, You know some people "live life in the fast lane always". They expect everything to be perfect and perfectly organised. Sadly they give little thought or time or consideration to someone who "is at their level"!

(Sad, arrogant people!) A major aspect of the Eunuch Archive is that alot of us are very very pre-disposed to taking time and to reading with care the thoughts and values of someone who has difficulties to overcome before they even type. As everyone here has said Sag, it is the content and the quality of your postings that we all appreciate. Anyone who can't take a minute or two to reflect on them must be rather sad. I didn't see the original criticism

but I have read A-1's comment above and he and we all say, keep reading, keep thinking and keep posting my friend.

As for us "life out of the fast lane" is far more better!!!

To Anyone that has critisised anyone about there spelling and grammar then they should take a look at how many poeple actually have to use dictionaries and spell checks in big business, I am one of them i also work in the caring field with people who havbe learning disabilities and alot of them cannot even read but they still have other strengths, so some of us are not good with spelling and grammar if you have a problem with that keep it to your self we are a small community as it is so do not take it out on each other. what we should be looking at instead of the not so strong points about people is look at what they can offer the community and friends.

Thanks for the encuragment that so many gave me when i was upset and i do apologize that i let it bother me so much.

But i do want to say this especially to the new commer we need to respect each other here .We are all diffrent and have many diffrent talents and befor we react to a post we need to think about how the other person me feel about what was said.

I think what made me angry was this lack of respect and i feel that the quality of the archives will always be in the understanding and consideration we give others here.

Rember we are here to give support and guidance to thoes seeking answers to a problem that they have and this is the only place that they will probley find thies answers and friendship that goes with it.

I will not stop my postings because i know thair are others here that are new and need someone to answer a question and i feel it would be wrong if i didnt help in anyway i can.

So thanks again and i do apologise for getting upset

it would be a shame if you quit posting here. In the short time since I have joined this comunity I have read many of your post and find them to be very informitive and valuable. The world is filled with people who spell better than you or I but haven't much to say.

Please please keep posting.

You guys should feel lucky that you're not writting in german.

The germans have had two spelling reformations (Rechtschreib(-?)Reformation) the last four years.

It's even driving me crazy.

Is it "Scheisse" or "Scheiße"?

(Ich muß(muss) mal scheiß(ss)en.)

Do you write "Leidtun" together or appart, capital or small?

Sauerstoff(f)lasche with two or three f's, together or appart????

I will tell you a secrete: Spelling was my worst subject at school.

I put a post in here last night and i said that i wouldent post here anymore do to the criticism the i have recived latley for my bad spelling and gramer.Now it is not that i dont want to post but i am just afraid anymore to put myself in that position infact call it an inferiority comrlex .

I have had trouble with spelling and gramer all my life and yes the dyslexia sure dosent help much eather.But i am very upset at some people who criticize others for any reason and i feel if any post should be baned here it should be this kind of post for thair is NO value in this kind of criticism in the archives.

For the newcomer here we are here to help and support each other here and if the spelling and gramer are not as it should be just rember that every one here didnt have a chance to go to collage and some maby had a hard time just getting through high school.

It would be very bad if you left and I'm very very happy you decided to stay. I also enjoy your posts and would miss them otherwise.

So your dyslexic and have difficulty spelling? So what! What you have to say is far more important than correct spelling and I also have never had a problem understanding your posts.

I take advise from a quote the Riverwind uses, originally by Theodore Seuss Geisel "those that matter don't care, those that care don't matter".
