I will be making two presentations at the conference of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health in Amsterdam. The conference runs from Friday, June 17th until Tuesday, June 21. If there is anyone in the Amsterdam area who would like to meet me for drinks or for dinner, I will keep Saturday late afternoon/evening and Sunday evening free. I will be staying at the meeting hotel the Doubletree near the Central Station.
If you would like to meet, please send me a <Private Message> and we can begin our planning.

Re: June in Amsterdam
Enjoy Schiphol. It is almost worth the trip for the airport. What a neat one. And I hope you have pleasant summer days for your stay.

Re: June in Amsterdam
Just to mention, there is a small hotel in the center of Amsterdam, called "Neutraal".
Kind of cool place for eunuchs

"Neutraal" is a neutral Dutch word and has in Dutch no conotations with the English words neuter, castrated or eunuch.
The recommandations for this hotel are "slecht" and "smerig" - "Bad" and "dirty/dingy".

You were right Tugon! Sundady I met Jesus in Amsterdam and it was a wonderful event, which I'll never forget. He showed me his presentation for the conference and we talked about castration, the brain, eunuchs and the EA. We had a drink on the terras of the hotel watching the old harbor of Amsterdam, the unendless strearm of pedestrians and cyclists and we had a lovely vegetarian dinner in the big floating chinese palace restaurant.

Re: June in Amsterdam
I'm just back to my hotel room from the final session (the business meeting) of the WPATH conference. I think it went very well. Both papers were well received and I had a large number of favorable comments and questions on my presentation about the voluntary eunuch community -- who all of you are and what services (including medical) are needed. Work has just started on the WPATH Standards of Care, version 8, which they hope to complete in 2 years. I've been asked to write a position paper on "eunuchs" for inclusion!!!! On a separate thread I will be asking for suggestions of what ought to be included to gain recognition and better care.
I had a wonderful evening with Peter47-NL. He is a very kind and gentle person. We had a wide-ranging conversation about everything from gender to art history to the history of Amsterdam. It was the high point of my visit.
