bone density test?...
I am due to have a bone density test after 2 years of being a eunuch.
Has anyone had one ? and did they notice much difference In they results?
I do use Testogel which has 5 mg of testosterone daily most of the time.
Would like to know what result you are having and for the ones who do not use any HRT
Thanks
David

Never been on HRT, have had several bone density tests, I have lost bone mass. Walking helps, so does calcium and A.

Especially with a Gelatin capsules - about 3 caps, 3 times a day. Maybe 4 times. Its only gelatin.
It is a high dose source of 2 Essential Amino Acids required for YOUR gelatin, cartilage and such.
With a Vitamin C supplement rich, rich in Vitamin P supplements too - Rutin, Bioflavinoids.
Before even RiverLava makes new bone, he makes a cartilage scaffold that is replaced by calcification. A diet deficient in gelatin or those Vitamin P factors will not favor bone growth.
RiverLava try some menudo made with hooves. High dose gelatin.
Gelatin is the bricks, Vitamin P is the mason.
Then add your Calcium in a nice absorbable form like High Dairy intake, and pills if you must with some Vitamin D
and
Voila Bone Growth.
I even got a little ole lady with a non healing arm bone fracture of some chronicity, to heal. YES I DID !
Just follow the supply side nutrition demanded by lessons from Histology class.
I use the same formula, sans Calcium for my old man bruises. Those scabby, in the skin kind.
Builds stronger connective tissues. Clean arms. Stop and they come back in a few weeks.
BTW the only reliable bone density test is a bone biopsy.
Hold the bite stick in your mouth as a core of bone is removed for microscopic examination.

Re: bone density test?...
The one test that I fail miserably. I have the bone density test every year or so and every time I fail. I am suppose to be on Fosamax. But I only take it about 1/2 of the year. The other half of the year, we are traveling and as a result, the pills get forgotten. My whole routine gets ruined and it just don't happen. Someday I will break bones because of it and will learn a hard lesson. One of the evils of being a Eunuch. The tests are simple and inexpensive.

The bone scan is done by x-ray of the large leg bone, have it done every two years.

Getting a bone density test done is one of several of my priorities now that I finally have health insurance through Medicaid. (It sure took me long enough to get my ducks in a row.)

You may want to look at taking a daily dose of micronized progesterone. It increases bone density without the feminizing effects of estrogen. Just dont take provera/medroxy progesterone acetate.

I have one of those choice "Obama Care" insurances that does not kick in until $6300. So I have the check density test annually. You put your foot in this boot of sorts and they
x-ray the heal of your foot. Yes, Obama Care is wonderful.. It does not kick in until you have $6300 worth of bills per year. It was not that many years ago that I could afford a health insurance policy with $1200 deductible. Those days will never come again now.

Re: bone density test?...
I get a bone density test done every 2 years with insurance (now Medicare) covering it. After getting just into the mildest area of osteopina a year or so after my castration, I started taking 1200 mg of calcium with vitamin D plus my daily women's multi-vitamin with another 400 mg of calcium and my bone density has stabilized. There seem to be at least 2 different tests. I get one where you lay on a table and they x-ray your hip and spine as opposed to the simple heel x-ray that OneBallBoi mentioned. Interestingly, he and I plus 2 other eunuchs went together for the heel test when a local hospital offered free tests a few years ago.
