I dont understand my T

Hi all as most of you know I had my scrotectomy 10 days ago, I only take a very low dose of T and I stopped it 11 days ago because I didnt want any chance of getting erect and pulling on the stitches but I have had more morning semi erections then ever and when I tried to get erect it as there within a minute or two, my beard is very patchy and has been since my orchiectomy but whats left is very strong. I dont understand does anyone know whats going on if I dont need T to get the odd erection then I will stop it as its a pain to put the gel on every day.

Could be that your adrenal glands have picked up a bit in the absence of the gel. Not going to last for the long term however.

I hated the gel when I was put on T for being low, eventually switched to injection and never looked back.

The problem is I only use a very very small amount of gel which is what i thought was giving me what I needed to just about get erect if i had to I had a sustenon 250 injection once and was back to the 10 unwaned erections a day back to hell its just to much for me.

I stopped using the gel for the same reason, plus I was getting unwanted erections every night, with still little desire for sex and an equally disinterested wife. Now, without supplemental T, my involuntary erections are semi-hard ones that don't last very long. I still have little interest in sex and still an uninterested wife. I tried several times to have sex with her since then but I am unable to get hard enough and really not all that motivated anyway. The desire is a fleeting as the ability to follow through.

Pretty the same here.. I was at first with sustanon fro about 6 months. Only reason is that it's the only T replacement covered by insurances here... All my problems came back with it. I managed to convince my doctor to prescribe gel. Now I can control the amount I take, and it's much better. I found the dosage that doesn't lead me to boring erections or sexual thoughts. For my sexuality, it compares to what unencumbered described here.

As has been said, I think this is your adrenal glands picking up the slack of producing testosterone, but it won't last forever. If you stop using the testosterone gel, in a few weeks, you should stop having erections, even semi hard ones. Without HRT you won't be able to get erect or orgasm, neither will you care.
