Our local version of Billy Graham, Schuller - lost his Crystal Cathedral.

I look at the car they travel in and wonder,

What would Jesus drive?

Are there any left who really took to heart a vow of personal poverty and service?

Sorry Mac but I find Mr. Graham, Schuller, et al serving two masters. (Hint: One is mammon)

And unless they are driving an outdated American car,

it is not going for the service of Christ.

Moi

Mac it's Media, eh?

"TBN" Trinity Broadcasting Netwark had a wonderful tribute to Rev. Graham for his 94th birthday today, November 7, 2012.

He received complements and commendations for his life's work from a vast range of people:

World political leaders both past and present

Past U.S. Presidents

Past and present state governors

World religeous leaders both past and present

Various Hollywood stars and celebrities

many others too numerous to recall

He served as advisor and friend to many of our country's leaders.

Who was not there to pay tribute to this great person?

Mac,

You miss the obvious. If I was President Obama and you supported Mitt Romney, do you think I'd come to a tribute in your honor? I don't think so!!

It is interesting to note how Billy Graham once condemned Mormonism as a cult but now works hand -in-hand with that cult. I call that a flip-flop. I don't fault Billy completely for that flip-flop. My hunch is that his son, Franklin, is the real power behind the throne these days. Franklin is much more radical than his dad.

I am also a Christian and my Bible tells me that Jesus said His Kingdom was not of this world. When "Christians" start getting too cozy with government, that is really a bad thing for Christianity. It goes against the real meaning and intent of Jesus and His teachings.

I could go on but will stop for now at least.

Mac (imported) wrote: Fri Nov 09, 2012 8:09 pm Do you really think that implication was incorrect?

YOU are incorrect. Saying that is utilizing the same logic as if I told YOU that I voted for TWO Republicans and you would say back, "...NO, you didn't." (I did!.they are friends of mine running for local offices.) SO THERE!!!

What in the hell GIVES YOU or anybody else the right to judge Barak Obama? Why do you quasi-religious Zealots INSIST that YOU know men's hearts?

What GIVES you the RIGHT? Certainly NOT your Bible. In fact, YOUR Bible speaks out against this practice.

This leaves but ONE conclusion.

YOU are NOT a religious Christian. Otherewise, YOU would NOT use your version of religion to judge people in an attempt to control mens's (and women's) (and Eunuchs') and EVERY-FUCKEN body else's mind.

YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO JUDGE BARAK OBAMA regarding religion. In fact, this aligns YOU with Belezebub, a LIAR and the ORIGINATOR of ALL LIES... who is a REPUBLICAN, apparently.

Mac: you are just the type of Christian I detest, and you give all Christians a bad name. You should be ashamed of yourself, but you're a fucking hypocrite, so of course, you aren't.

If there is a hell, I'm sure Billy Graham will join his charlatan televangelist brothers there. For him and for all of them, it was always just about the money.

Folks, the personal insults are totally uncalled for.

Name calling has its place, and it's not here.
