Thai Senator Fatally Wounds Secretary with Submachine Gun While Waiting for Food at a Restaurant

A member of the Thai parliament is accused of accidentally killing his personal secretary with a submachine gun while the two waited for their food to arrive inside a local restaurant.
Senator Boonsong Kowawisarat reportedly had in his possession a loaded 9mm Uzi submachine gun, though it is unclear why.
According to police, the shooting took place inside a restaurant in the northern province of Phrae. The 55-year-old politician drew his weapon while he and his secretary, 46-year-old Chanakarn Detkard, were waiting to be served. The Uzi suddenly went off, and a bullet struck Chanakarn in her stomach.
She was rushed to the hospital by the restaurant owner while Boonsong remained behind in shock.
Due to his parliamentary privilege, the Senator has yet to be charged, but police expect he will ultimately be tried for death by negligence.
If convicted, Boonsong faces as many as 10 years behind bars.

Re: This is wrong on so many levels (UZI Edition)
It is difficult to know just what happened here, maybe the Senator was horney for his secretary and she rejected him and he decided it was time to discharge her from her position... Maybe the Senator was just showing off his new gun, and being a new gun, he did not know how to handle it and it might have been a real accidental shooting... Maybe maybe maybe... Impossible to know.
Still, you have to wonder, just what the hell is a Senator doing carrying an Uzi? IF the Senator had faced a real threat to his life (e.g. armed assassins) then he should have had a security detail or one or two body guards at the very least. This image of a 55 year old politician carrying his own Uzi like this, it sort of sounds pathetic, he needed to compensate for his other broken gun by getting another gun?

NO!

Taking your UZI and your Secretary to lunch and afternoon delight smacks of having a tiny penis and masculinity issues.

Nevertheless, she'd be much more likely to let him stick a tiny penis in her than an UZI!
...unless his penis was an "oozie", too...
